VALORANT Coins — How to Play

1) Scope & Acceptance
By entering or accepting a VALORANT match ("Match") on MaxWin, you agree to these Rules and the MaxWin Terms of Service. Admin decisions are final.
2) Match Listing = Binding Terms
Listing controls. The Match Listing (map/region, best-of, win condition, weapon/agent limits like "Vandal-only" or "Sheriff-only," etc.) is the binding contract for that Match.
Breach = forfeit. If a player violates any Listing term, the other player wins the Match upon proof (see §6).
3) Hosting & Readiness
- Host: The Match creator must host the lobby (Custom Game) using the agreed region and settings in the Listing.
- Ready-up timer: Once both parties confirm the Match, each side has 5 minutes to join and ready up.
- If your opponent isn't ready within 5 minutes, you may claim a forfeit with timestamped proof.
- If the host fails to provide the correct lobby within 5 minutes, the opponent may claim a forfeit with proof.
- Spectators: No spectators unless the Listing explicitly allows it. Unauthorized spectators must be removed; continued non-compliance = round/match penalties at admin discretion.
4) Default Game Settings (when the Listing is silent)
- Mode: Custom Game — Standard (Competitive rules).
- Win condition: First to 13 rounds; overtime per in-game default ("win by 2"). If still tied after two OT sets, play the game's sudden-death option.
- Sides: Host sets sides. Teams swap at halftime (after 12 rounds), per VALORANT rules.
- Agents/Weapons: All allowed unless the Listing restricts (e.g., "Vandal-only," "No Ops," "No Ultimates"). A single round using a banned item = match forfeit if proven.
5) Name/Account Integrity
Your Riot ID and tagline must match your MaxWin profile and the Listing. Smurfs/mismatched identities, account sharing, or spoofing may result in forfeit and account action.
6) Results, Reporting & Evidence
- Report window: Both players must report the outcome within 15 minutes of the Match ending (platform timer).
- No-show report: If only one player reports within 15 minutes and supplies valid proof, admins may settle in favor of the reporting player.
- Disputes: If results conflict, the Match enters dispute. Each side must upload evidence (screenshots and/or a recording link).
- Required proof (clear and readable):
- Final scoreboard showing both Riot IDs, final score, and map.
- If Listing had special rules: pre-game lobby settings screenshot, or in-match proof of compliance.
- Optional but recommended: full-match recording (Twitch/YouTube unlisted link acceptable).
- Evidence quality: Cropped/edited or unreadable proof may be rejected. Missing required proof may cause a loss.
7) Disconnects (DC) & Technical Pauses
- One-time 5-minute reconnect: Each player is allowed to disconnect once during a match for up to 5 minutes and reconnect. If they cannot return within 5 minutes, the opponent wins the Match.
- Mid-round DC: If a player disconnects during an active round, that round is counted and played to completion. The disconnected player may rejoin for subsequent rounds if within their 5-minute window.
- Between-rounds DC: If a player disconnects between rounds, the match pauses and resumes from the current score when the player reconnects (within the 5-minute limit).
- Admin review: For disputes, admins may add you on Riot to check match history and verify disconnection details.
- Proof: Use in-client timers, lobby screenshots, and/or recording to show the DC timing and return/no-return.
8) Conduct & Fair Play
- Cheating = instant loss: Any cheats, hacks, macros/automation, network manipulation, or unauthorized third-party tools result in immediate forfeit and potential platform action.
- Exploits: Abusing glitches/bugs to gain advantage is prohibited. If a round is materially affected by a one-off bug, replay that round if both agree; otherwise admins decide.
- Match Chat & Conduct: Match chat allows all toxicity and trash talk, but using slurs (racial, sexual, etc.) may result in chat bans. Threats and doxxing are prohibited and may lead to forfeits or account bans.
- Collusion/Throwing: Coordinating outcomes or intentional throwing is forbidden and may void results, forfeit payouts, and trigger account penalties.
9) Playing the Listing to the Letter
- Weapon/ability limits: If the Listing bans an item/ability (e.g., "No Operator," "No Ultimates"), any use is a match forfeit if proven.
- Region/Server: Play on the region in the Listing. Starting on the wrong region must be corrected; resume from the current score.
- Wrong map/settings: If discovered mid-match, correct immediately and resume from current score unless the Listing makes compliance impossible—then admins decide.
10) Forfeits, Cancellations & Admin Powers
- Forfeit grounds (examples): Breach of Listing rules; failure to ready up (§3); failure to report within 15 minutes (§6); cheating; unresolved DC beyond 5 minutes (§7); identity mismatch (§5).
- Cancellations/No-contest: For mutual technical failures (e.g., both cannot return), admins may cancel. Remedies include replay, split, or refund per ToS; admin decisions are final.
- Time-wasting: Repeated delays, refusing to start, or stalling can result in round or match forfeits.
11) Communication Channel
Use MaxWin match chat for official communications. What's not logged may not count. Keep it civil and on-topic.
12) Recording Recommendation (Strongly Encouraged)
Players are strongly recommended to record the entire Match (VOD). In disputes without sufficient proof, decisions favor the party with clear evidence.
13) Settlement & Payout
- When both players report the same result, the platform will auto-settle.
- In disputes, payouts are held until resolution. Admins may award a winner, order a replay, split, or issue a forfeit. See ToS for fee handling and timing.
14) Quick Checklist (pre-match)
- Confirm Listing rules (map, region, weapon/agent limits, win condition).
- Match creator hosts correct Custom Game.
- Both join and ready within 5 minutes.
- Start recording (recommended).
- After match: screenshot final scoreboard and report within 15 minutes.
